Baimei Jihua was founded by former Merck scientists, starting with Sunnylife Pharma, Inc. in New Jersey at the end of 2012.
Zhengzhou Pumei Jihua Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in 2016 and renamed Baimei Jihua Henan Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd. in November 2023. Jiaxing Baimei Jihua Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in February 2023. The company currently has more than 100 full-time R&D chemists, 4 senior R&D experts from Merck, and 7 PhDs. The Jiaxing site can further expand its R&D capacity and is expected to build a team of more than 200 chemists. The company also works with experts who have decades of experience in organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, and drug discovery.
